You are in class 12 right now. Your final year at school, ready to head to college soon. It is a very interesting time for you as you go about deciding your college options. It’s time to choose the subjects and degree that you want to pursue. But, do you really know what you want to do? Or do you hope to study subjects that you like and try and make a career out of the same after completing your graduation?
Studying in college and planning your career are two entirely different things. But, deciding on a career and then following it up with the required college degree is a very smart thing do to. This is like going for ‘Gold’ i.e. you know what it is that you want and you also know how to get to it. You may have thought of a career but may be uncertain about the courses that you need to do.
There is no single best career today. However, you have successful people in all possible fields of careers. Be it inventors, businessmen, chefs, singers, bloggers, photographers or engineers. Every career gives you a chance for success. Go for the career that’s meant for you.
As you understand yourself better, you can make better decisions about your life. What is it that you would really like to do? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
